We provide promotion support and industry knowledge to get new releases and promo music signed, reviewed and played through the UK media. To view the our release and promotion history click on the Artists link.
Media Promotion
HTT Music is the link between musicians/labels and radio. On a campaign basis we either to work a full album or a single. We liaise with radio station managers, show producers and DJs build support for the release. Getting a song on the playlist is the ultimate goal, as that ensures the most airplay, but getting spot plays, organizing promotions and contests involving the artist, setting up interviews and live sessions, or simply getting the release mentioned on air all figure into the picture.

We charge fees for a promotion, the cost depends on the size and time period of the campaign. Our fees are spread over the term of the campaign and the
minimum term is 6 months.
The promotional strategy and direction is reviewed every 6 months . The assumption is the artist signs to the label (Holier Than Thou Records) and an income should eventually be generated through music sales i.e. digital and retail income. HTT Music would aim to work on a commission split contract within 12 to 18 months.
Digital Distribution
Holier Than Thou Records formed in 1995 providing label representation and distribution exclusively for artists signed to HTT Music. We distribute music to and via download sites such as iTunes, Emusic, and Napster we are represented by PHM, who act as a content supplier allowing each download company to deal with one distribution centre rather than each individual artist or label. HTT Music manage the complete release, including date and artwork submission, generated ISRC (International Standard Recording Code), supply quarterly statements. On downloads HTT work on a 70/30 split in the artists favour after set up costs are paid ( set up costs paid for through download sales)
Retail Distribution
There are specific guidelines in place for a successful retail campaign HTT use quality distributers Code 7 / Plastic Head to ensure the widest coverage. The releases are made available to most major stores and over 300 independents.
