Torn are a 3-piece experimental, groove based rock band from the UK... The conception of 3 musicians, who have
worked together over the years, in various bands & recording projects... TORN represents the melting pot
that is their combined musical characters... Elements of funk, Rock, weirdness!

Since they formed they have been UK songwriting contest finalists and have had airplay on Kerrang! and local Radio, as well as playing gigs and festivals around the southwest. Their first album… Disturbance in the Equilibrium is a fine example of 21st century rock and is thought provoking and exciting with wide appeal. They are captivating their audiences and getting acclaimed reviews.

Steve Parsons (Drummer)
Steve has played drums since he was 15. He recorded an album in L.A for C.B.S records in the late 80s and has toured in the USA. Apart from torn, Steve is half of Groove planet who produce high class Bass & Drum sample C.Ds He has MTV appearances to his name and is at home in the recording studio as he is  on stage. His influences range from Jon Bonham to  Ringo Star and he is always in demand as a player.

Dave Savage (Bass)
Dave never fails to get noticed as a player. He has toured extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. He is Half of Groove Planet and has appeared on MTV with Steve. He has recorded in Abbey road studios and is blessed as a player writer and teacher. Dave’s influences range from Lemmy to Meshell Ndegeocello

Jules Reason (Guitar/Vocals)
Jules has worked with Steve and Dave in different projects over the years. He has toured and lived in the Middle East as a freelancer and has always earned a living with his guitar playing. Jules has recorded with Dave in Abbey Road studios and has had songs published. He is the main lyric writer for Torn.
